Gently hold her in your hand and slowly place her in the water. Watch as pink, purple and gold surround you with foamy frothy waters surround you. My intention was to transport you to a poppy field, surrounded by the sweet warming smell of sleepy goodness.
Magical: Poppies are associated with euphoria, joy and peace. They are also associated with sorrow and longing and also represent death.
Poppies signify this interconnectedness we all have as living beings. Celebrating the transition to the afterlife but celebrating and honoring that we all share this experience of life together.
Medicinal: Poppies have been used for pain relief, stomach relief, headache relief and to induce sleep. Folks will boil and steep the seeds to make a tea.
