Cleaning Your Tub
Each bath tub is different so the way we care of them is also different!
I have some advice down below for how to best clean your tub based on what kind you have! Avid bathers need to take extra good care of our tubs.
Our shop uses tub, pipe, skin & environment safe colors inside our bath bombs however a bit of color can attach to any preexisting soap residue no matter where you buy your bombs from. Color can also be seen if you have an older and more porous tub.
For the best bathing experiences, I have some cleaning suggestions below!
ACRYLIC TUB
-fill your tub with hot hot water and add vinegar and let it sit for about 20 min. Drain the tub.
-use baking soda and a damp cloth, sponge or brush to scrub all over
FIBERGLASS TUB
- use vinegar and water together (2 parts vinegar and one part water) in a spray bottle and spray directly on the entire tub. Let it sit for about 20 min
- For tough stains, add a baking soda paste with hydrogen peroxide and let sit for about an hour.
- wipe with a cloth or sponge. Rinse away and use a microfiber cloth to remove any remaining residue.
PORCELAIN - ENAMELED TUB
- equally combine warm water, ammonia and baking soda into a bucket or container. using a cloth or sponge, dip into the solution and scrub the stains.
You can use lemon and salt on the tougher stains and use a cloth with the solution to rid of the stains.
