Leather Flower-
Also known as Clematis, this hardy stunning plant was one I had to represent in our Poison Garden.
Ingredients: Black Current, Vanilla Pod, Jasmine, Amber, Sandalwood & Rose Absolute
Spray all over your skin, clothing /linens or space around you for new beginnings, encouraging ease and a sense of calm.
Medicinal: She was often used for jointed pain, headaches, skin irritations and conditions, blisters. In certain parts of Europe and Eastern Asia, Clematis gets used to treat eye infections, fever, certain bone illnesses and certain STD symptoms. Steeping the leaves into a tea is usually how this plant gets used!
Magical: Clematis is associated with providing calm and peace. She is also associated with mental cleverness. I love this fact- it was often given as a gift to those who were considered smart because this plant grows and flourishes despite tough conditions.
I chose these ingredients and created this with intentions around personal growth, new beginnings, tenacity, providing a sense of calm and uplifting low energy.
