Inspired by New Orleans and her many cemeteries. Visiting and spending time in cemeteries is one of my favorite pastimes. Visiting many of New Orleans’ cemeteries is a must do. Because of the state of the ground and often damp, flooded & hot terrain, bodies are buried above ground.
Because of this, cemeteries look like miniature cities. They are gorgeous, haunting & the air feels full of mystery, stories & whispers. The tombs above ground make for walking through cemeteries one of the best activities you can do there. Offering respect, flowers, silence & prayers to those who lay there to rest.
New Orleans is one of those places with high paranormal activity, hauntings, spiritual awakenings & more. You can just FEEL it. And the cemeteries are one of those places you might just see and feel those spirits.
